and yet, McCaca is still a warmongering asshole.
Iraq for 100 years? HE MEANS IT.
More wars? HE MEANS IT.
This is the future of our country if McCaca becomes president in 2009. Please don't be under any illusion that he is a moderate of any sort. He's just another tool of the military-industrial complex.
And don't forget that he doesn't really understand economics. Just what we need, since the economy is so awesomely strong and robust!

Republican U.S. presidential candidate John McCain said on Wednesday he would not rule out launching preemptive wars against future enemies.Folks, as the once-great Randi Rhodes used to say, "When they show you who they are, BELIEVE THEM."
President George W. Bush, in launching his 2003 invasion of Iraq, said it was necessary to forestall possible future attacks from a country that was developing weapons of mass destruction.
None of the weapons he alleged were in Iraq were subsequently found.

When asked at a town hall meeting about the Bush policy on preemption, McCain said: "I don't think you can make a blanket statement about preemptive war because obviously it depends on the threat that the United States of America faces."
After the Sept. 11 attacks Bush approved a new national security strategy in 2002 that allowed the United States to strike first against U.S. enemies believed to be about to use weapons of mass destruction against America.
The doctrine triggered a wide debate and criticism from the administration's critics at the time.

Yep, thats my man McSame. Preemptive STRIKES are for weinies, we manly Repubs want us some WAR. Grand glorious war where other peoples kids die and I get rich. To hell with the consequences, it's WAAAARRRRR!
LOL! Thanks for the giggle. :-)
You're right he means it. I think he's setting the stage so people get used to the idea of his starting a war. My geuss is Iran. People like he and Bush think because they want something it's right to do it. I truly don't think they care about the consequences.
(your're wecom)

A tool, yes. He's certainly not the mastermind. He's more like all these other dumbshit Republicans who buy into this military response to September the eleventh. It is a type of nationalistic fervor relating to military power that we have seen before. Never before have we seen the possibility of the United States starting a war so blatantly tossed around as so much political correctness. Politically correct for neocons, that is.
I'd rather lose an election than lose a war!
Oh yeah? Well I hope you do. Besides, technically the U.S.A. isn't really at war. You can't just start a war and then say you're at war. There never was an enemy attack. We showed up in their country. Remember? If we went home now, nobody would follow us back to the mainland to kick our ass. McCain is the just the type of figurehead that is required. God forbid that he become the next president.
