If we learn nothing from the Great Gay Sweater Scandal of 2007, we may be sure at least of two things:
1) John McCain is not an independent thinker. If he was so concerned about the alleged homosexuality of his sweaters (I'm still shaking my head at that one - did they have Jeff Gannon's pic from "HotMilitaryStuds.com" on them?), he shouldn't have worn them. But he demonstrated his true WeatherVane McCain character by going with the prevailing winds. And I thought Republics were such strong men, unlike those wussy Democrats! And they smell like Aqua Velva and stuff! (For the record, my vote for John McCain's smell is mothballs and Jack Daniels.)
2) John McCain is a typical Republic who refuses to take responsibility for any of his actions. Dude, your campaign is in the toilet because you're a scary, warmongering, generally unpleasant old man. Sweaters just ain't in it.
