So, Sinfonian did this "meme tag" thing to me when I was emphatically NOT blogging on Aruba. Of course, I am now 100 blog-years too late with this now, but hey! A promise is a promise. Here goes nothing.

First, to post the rules:

1) I am generally late to every trend. (Took me, like, 5 years to buy a DVD player.) So, this is par for the course.

2) My favorite color is purple. I am fond of all things purple, including grape soda.

3) I have a terrible weakness for John Hughes movies.

4) If I had my druthers, I'd do nothing but sing opera, write about politics, and design purty websites for artistic people.

5) I have been deliriously happily married for the past ten years.

6) My stepmother is both African-American AND Jewish. And she didn't have to convert.

7) My step-grandfather was Joan Crawford's lover and was mentioned in Christina Crawford's classic "Mommie Dearest" as "Uncle David".

8) I'm a Virgo with a Libra moon and a Scorpio rising.
