Strength

You know, it's a funny thing, but strength seems to mean something very different to conservatives than it does to normal Americans.

Apparently, 28% of Americans look at the Fascists and think, "Ooooh! A Strong Daddy who will tell me what do to and whom to hate. Yay, Daddy!"

When I look at George "Bring 'Em On" Bush, for example, or Rudy "No Brown People Allowed" Giuliani, or Mitt "Double Gitmo" Romney, I see bullies who use their power to oppress the weak and enable the privileged to increase their bounty. A bully, however, is not strong.

Indeed, a bully is a coward who sees threats everywhere. To hide their own inadequacies, bullies swagger and smirk, using the biggest weapons at their disposal to swat the smallest 'enemies.' Their first reaction to any situation is to use force. If that doesn't work, they'll use more force, and more, and more, until, leaving destruction behind them, the balloon of their self-esteem is punctured at last, and they slink away, disgraced and dismissed, into the slimehole from which they oozed.

We have bullies in charge of our government. We need our representatives to stand up to them, and soon, before their insecurities destroy the world.

You really have to wonder whom the Dems are afraid of, lately. They don't seem to understand that they're not picking up supporters with their actions.

Honestly, they need to hire a regular Joe consultant (yes, I'm volunteering!) who will tell them to stand up and act as if they care about America. We're circling the drain and they've already given up.

I think you're right! They should hire a regular Jane too. :-)

The fact is, the Democrats just can't make any headway on the people's agenda via traditional means, such as legislation, because W and his fellow fascists have broken the government. They pushed forward three war defunding measures this week and they couldn't get anything passed.

The Democrats are afraid of taking drastic steps like shutting down the government or impeachment because they know that they will be completely and mercilessly attacked in the media. They feel they won't be able to withstand the onslaught and that the Fascists will take the government back in 2008. And that, my friend, will be the end of America.

What they don't realize is that sometimes, like LBJ and the Civil Rights Act, you've gotta do what's right even if you feel like you don't have enough popular support. Drastic steps are the only things that will work now.
