I'm Not a Gal Who Prays, but....

ohpleaseohpleaseohpleaseohplease let this be true.

NEW YORK (CBS) ― Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton hinted at the possibility of a democratic "dream ticket" with Sen. Barack Obama. Speaking on the Early Show on CBS, Clinton said "that may be where this is headed, but we have to decide who is on the top of the ticket." Clinton said the race between her and Obama remains "incredibly close," with just "smidgens of difference" between them.

With Clinton's wins in Ohio, Texas and Rhode Island last night, I think her argument that she can win big states and swing states is pretty persuasive. Of course, Obama's charisma and his ability to bring new voters and fresh enthusiasim to the party should not be underestimated either. And I don't think anyone wants the superdelegates to decide this thing for either candidate.

Will the Democratic Party do the smart thing for once? Will our strong, persuasive, intelligent candidates get together and become one unstoppable force - dubbed by the fabulous Res Ipsa Loquitur as "Clobama"?

Beats Obinton.
I'm not sure Clinton would take VP.
However, I agree, they would be pretty well unstoppable. Obama is a young man and if he were VP, I think the presidency would be his after their term is up. Oh, what they could accomplish together.
I'll join ya.

If no Clobama, I've been trying to match each with a possible VP.
Obama with Sibelius of KS? Popular in the heavily red Midwest.
Clinton with Riichardson of NM? Eastern candidate with a well known Westerner.
I think not only do we have two good presidential candidates, we have a real good crop of VPs.
There's even been talk of "my" governor Napolitano (Goddess-AZ).
Noooooooooo!

hee! I would feel the same way if they took my Spitzer away. :-)

I think both of those VP choices would be good.

wonder who McCaca is going to pick? Hackabee, to me, would be the obvious choice.

I think you're right, McSame has to prop up his winger chops. The Pander Bear has no choice, it's his greatest vulnerability. I apologize on behalf of Az for McSame.
I had a thought on an interesting ticket, another Clobama ticket.
Clinton/Michelle Obama?

Maybe in 2024 Michelle can run for President. She'll only be 62. :-)
